Dobos Torta

DOBOS TORTA

The August 2009 Daring Bakers' challenge was hosted by Angela of A Spoonful
of Sugar and Lorraine of Not Quite Nigella. They chose the spectacular Dobos Torte based on a recipe from Rick Rodgers' cookbook Kaffeehaus: Exquisite
Desserts from the Classic Caffés of Vienna, Budapest, and Prague.

This was my very first Daring Bakers challenge...They don't call it a challenge for no reason; this was tough!

Gma puts a bit of vinegar (a teaspoon) in the melted sugar so it would not harden too soon and the slices could be cut without cracking.

Looks nice for first try. The thinner the slices the better.

The filling (chocolate cream) with a touch of coffee (leftover from the morning or instant will do) az isteni!
